Our Power Conduit power lead uses LAPP Ölflex Classic SY cable. This is a high quality power and control cable with 3 x 2.5mm²  fine-strand oxygen-free copper conductors, and using PVC outer and inner sheaths with a braided steel sheath for shielding and durability. The cable is terminated using quality Schuko and IEC plugs with gold plated solid copper connectors and finished with black PET braided sleeving

These power cables provide an excellent connection to you home power grid. The 2.5mm² conductors are substantially thicker than those found in stock power leads, and match the wiring found feeding sockets in most modern European homes. Thicker conductors means that there is no bottleneck in the current supply chain to your equipment. This can be particularly noticeable with amplifiers requiring large current swings.

The braided shielding in the Ölflex Classic cable helps reduce EMT, a byproduct of current flow in all power leads. Stray EMT can be a major source of noise in audio systems, particularly around the low level audio signals found in phono stages.
